Uri Nir

Uri Nir (born 1976) is an Israeli sculptor and filmmaker who lives and works in Tel Aviv-Yafo.
In 1997, he began his studies in the Art Department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, which he completed in 2001. Since graduating he has presented solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Between the years 2006-2008, he studied for a master’s degree in art at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since 2003 he has been teaching at the Art Department at Bezalel, and since 2009 at the Faculty of Arts – Hamidrasha at Beit Berl College.
