פרופ' נורית בוכוייץ היא מרצה היא בעלת תואר דוקטור בספרות כללית ועברית מאוניברסיטת תל אביב ותעודה להוראת הספרות מבית הספר לחינוך באוניברסיטת תל אביב. תחומי התמחותה הם פוסטמודרניזם – פואטיקה ותיאוריה, פוסט-הומניזם ורומן המאה העשרים ואחת ושירה עברית בתר-מודרניסטית.
פרופ' נורית בוכוייץ עמדה בראש החוג לספרות בשנים 2005 – 2013 וכיהנה כדקאן הפקולטה הפקולטה לחברה ולתרבות בשנים 2015 – 2022. מרצה אורחת ב Ludwigsburg Pedagogical University, גרמניה, Krakow Pedagogical University, פולין, Friedrich Alexander University, ארלנגן-נירנברג, גרמניה.
