Idit Toledano, Dr.

Specializing in African art history, curator and gallery director at The African Studies Gallery in Tel Aviv. In my academic research I primerily focus on Western construction of knowledge regarding artistic expressions from Africa. Additionally, I teach courses on African art and serve as a pedagogic instructor for history teachers at Beit Berl College. Additionally, I am involved in several projects in Africa, including academic exchange programs between art academies in Uganda and Israel. I also curated the permanent exhibition at the Beats of Beads Art Centre in Maasai Mara, Kenya.
